January 8, 2005
MINUTES
Nagle
Warren Mansion
Cheyenne, Wyoming
The meeting was called to order at 11:30 a.m. by President Jim Osterfoss at the
Nagle Warren Mansion B&B in Cheyenne, WY.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
The minutes for the November 6, 2003 general meeting were approved as written.
Motion made by Gene Vieh and seconded by Robin Berry and approved unanimously.
2005 BUDGET & MARKETING
REVIEW:
Dave Pellatz passed out copies of the proposed budget for the year 2005. The
following points were covered:
1. We have $4410 in our checking and savings accounts.
2. Funds are included to partner with BBOnline. They will host an association
page with line listings for all members.
3. Annual dues are based on 60 members for 2005.
4. Internet costs have increased due to additional members hosting with
Affinity. We pay for the members hosting service bill and are reimbursed by the
members. This income is shown as website hosting in the income section.
Jim Osterfoss asked the membership to approve the total income and expense
budgets while allowing the Board to adjust expense line items as needed. A
motion to approve the budget with this provision was made by Robin Berry and
seconded by Becky Noecker. The membership present approved the 2005 budget as
presented.
ELECTION OF DIRECTORS:
Election of board members was held with the following
slate of nominees: Andrea Malmberg, Twin Creek Ranch & Lodge in Lander; Jan
Peterson, Howdy Pardner B&B in Cheyenne; and Ron Spahn, Spahn’s Bighorn Mountain
B&B in Big Horn. A motion to accept this slate of nominees was made by Robin
Berry and seconded by Marvin Brown. Motion carried. Andrea and Jan will serve
three years terms until the 2007 Fall/Winter Conference and Ron will complete
the remaining term of Jackie Richardson which expires at the 2005 Fall/Winter
Conference.
NEW BUSINESS:
The 2005 Fall/Winter conference will be held in January
2006.
Motion to adjourn was made by Bob Berry and seconded by Paul Olson. Meeting
adjourned at 12:15 p.m.
