Fort Bonneville 1832 - 1836 |

Built in 1832 by Captain Bonneville as a fur trading post, it was known as “Fort Nonsense” or “Bonneville’s Folly.” Early fall snows made the fort unusable in the winter and it was soon abandoned. A marker is located at the site approximately three miles northwest of Daniel. |
