The northern corridor covers four distinct regions - the Black Hills in the east, Powder River Country in the center, the Big Horn Basin to the west, and Yellowstone National Park in the far northwest corner.

Adventures in the Black Hills

This country is not civilized, but as Crow Chief Arapooish described it, "The Crow country is just right.  The water is clear and sweet.  There are plenty of buffalo, elk, deer, antelope and mountain sheep.  It is the best wintering place in the world and has plenty of game.  Is it any wonder that the Crows have fought long and hard to defend this country, which we love so much?"

Adventures in Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is the grandest and oldest of our nation's parks and the undisputed primary tourist attraction of the state.  Many people queue up to drive through the Park, not realizing that some of its more glorious features are only accessible on foot.  Even if you don't have the time to leave the roads, Yellowstone is a wonderful place where many of the rules of nature seem to rewrite themselves.
